I'm not sure how many images this page will grow to, but basically it is for individual (non-Sun) stars, and double or multiple star systems.
Alberio - Double Star
I admit, this looks like two different colored cotton balls. But really, they are the double star system collectively known as "Alberio," and it is probably one of the best double stars in the sky. The very different colored stars are neat to see right next to each other, and their 35 arcsec separation makes them seperable in low-powered telescopes.
This image was taken for 1 second with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel camera attached to the 16" SBO telescope at CU Boulder.
