I found a ledge part-way into the canyon and set up shop for sunset. These four photographs were generally facing towards the sun. The first is a wide panorama (~90°) just at sunset, while the last is another, wider panorama (145°) several minutes after sunset. The center two are HDR (High-Dynamic Range) images facing towards the sun at various points during the sunset.
